Yes. If anyone ever said it has nice graphics.
Better graphics = higher requirements. But if you lower the requirements without lowering (too much) the graphics, it's logical that more people will enjoy the beautifulness.
Don't forget how many people couldn't enjoy AoC in full details. Or can't even now.

OH MAN THAT DIABLO 2 GAME SURE IS PRETTY.
Your PC is too old to run new games on high? That's a shame, but it doesn't mean games with lower requirements have better graphics. "Universal belief" doesn't come from your PC being outdated.

I think Diablo 2's graphics were considered pretty... meh. Especially for a game on 2D, with no isometric view. Compare it to Neverwinter Nights, a game with a multiplayer up to 96 players, giant modules and so on, that came out in 2002. There were probably better looking single-player games, but I forgot.
Oh, and 800x600 graphics look so pertty.
My PC too old? Never said it. I run Borderlands on High, especially now that I have a new CPU.
Okay, new argument - WoW's popular mainly thanks to the low requirements. I mean, you can play it on any laptop that was created in less than 3 years ago. Or 4, if you don't care about graphics at all. Sure you can't do 25-man raids or battlegrounds, just like I can't (or couldn't, before getting more RAM) go into Alliance Battles when everyone zergs on my old laptop.
Or why Peggle and other Popcap games have low requirement and pretty, but 2D graphics? Because a lot of people who like games don't know how to or don't want to buy new parts for PC like we do.

I hear that. When you have a busted GPU for 2 months, you start appreciating graphics without any need for GPU.

That's my point. D2 looked nice, and there's no question that more people can run it at higher settings than can do the same for AoC, but that doesn't mean it has better graphics than AoC does.

Wasn't speaking of yours specifically; I know yours is relatively up to date.

I didn't say they were pretty. I said they were pretty meh. Low-detail characters, monsters with faces too mashed up to see eyes... The only nice thing about Diablo 2's graphics were spell effects. Also, let's not compare games from 2000 to games from 2008/2009. Otherwise we might compare everything to Pong.

Fair enough.

I think that Plants vs Zombies is an awesome, cheap and pretty game. Also has some modes for more hardcore players.

Gah. Turns out the big 1.5.1 patch barely increased the exp from quests.
200k instead of 100k, 300k instead of 150k... Wow. Cool, so it will fill over a half of a bar instead of 1/4.
Guess like I can save money instead of resubscribing.

I might quit this game soon. Have borderland on my plate along with Left 4 Dead 2, not to mention Modern Warfare 2. Guess I'm not cut out for mmorpg that cost money?

Those 3 games are going to be much more enjoyable than Aion.

Guess how did I cancel my (or at least, not renew) my subscription?
I looked at my Steam list. Team Fortress 2, Borderlands, Aion, Hammerfight, Mass Effect, Torchlight.
Hm. Wow, that's a pickle.
And now they're doing a 2.50 EUR for Frontlines: Fuel of War. Fun game, apparently, and it's dirt cheap. Why would anyone want to return to Aion?

So is it coming out of the paid beta stage like every other (newly) released MMO?

If you know we have an Aion thread, why didn't you post there? How many thread have to be merged before you get it? Keep the Aion discussion in the Aion thread.

I think new information can have a new thread. I mean, better then relentlessly bumping up The Guy Above Me Part 6 :P
AND HOW CAN YOU NOT WANT TO PLAY THAT!
(Insert first smart alec remark about how cool you are for not playing it)
I'm excited.
That bulletin board in there at 4:40 looks kind of interesting. Wondering what exactly that will be.
And whatever that is at 6:09... I want.
